Knowledge Net

Time: Saturday, Jan. 28th from 2PM to 4PM

Format:
The Knowledge Net is a semi-formal, expert led opportunity to converse with your fellow attendees on topics that are important to you like “What rights and laws should we promote to protect cyborgs, bodyhackers, and the like?” and “What ways could we create and integrate new senses into our bodies?” The Knowledge Net will take place in The Hub on Saturday, January 28th from 2PM to 4PM.

Important Info:
Topics will be announced January 4th and signup will be January 4th – January 21st. There will be limited seating availability and Plus Pass holders who register in advance will get first priority.

Lightning Talks

Time: Saturday, Jan. 28th from 2pm-4pm

Format: 10 speakers will be given the opportunity to present with a modified Ignite talks format.

Each speaker will get 10 minutes to present using 20 PowerPoint slides auto-advancing each 30 seconds. This format is designed to move a talk along quickly, while still allowing for some time to check out amazing pictures or complicated tables of data.

Important Info:

  • Talk topics announced January 4th
  • 10 speakers and 2 alternates will be given complimentary speaker passes to BDYHAX including access to Put Together and The Wormhole.
  • Powerpoints must be submitted by January 15th or will go with backups

Call for Demos

Time: 
11AM – 6PM Saturday January 28th
11AM – 4PM Sunday January 29th

Format:
We have limited availability for demo space for your physical project at The Hub. Demo projects will receive a 6’ table and 2 chairs at no cost, and 50% off conference passes for up to two team members. It is not required that you purchase a conference pass to demo in The Hub.

Important Info:
Signup dates: October 1-December 30, 2016

If you require pipe & drape or priority placement in The Hub, please our sales team for a booth.
